Original Story
The pimping of street prostitutes is a black-dominated affair, most of the girls are white runaways from rural & suburban areas. Therefore, it's likely that, the girls in this story are White.
D.C. police are investigating whether one of their own officers was
running a prostitution ring after investigators found a runaway girl and
other young women at his home in Southeast Washington.
According to documents filed in federal court, a 16-year-old girl who
had gone missing told police that the officer bought sexy clothes for
her and set up a “date” for her with an older . . . male for $80. The
girl, who had been missing for a week, told police that six other women
had also worked out of the home in the 3066 Stanton Road SE.
The incident comes just four days after the arrest of another D.C. police officer who was accused of taking nude pictures of a runaway teenager after she returned home. Police are investigating whether the two cases are related.
D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier released a statement Thursday saying
she is “very concerned” about the recent allegations of “egregious
conduct” by two officers involving missing girls.
Lanier said she recognized that the actions of the officers reflect on the entire department.
“The misguided actions of a few in
no way reflect on the professionalism, dedication, and integrity of the
department,” Lanier said. “As we have seen several times this year with
three officers shot in the line of duty, MPD officers put their lives on
the line every single day to protect residents and visitors in the
District of Columbia. That will not change.”
On Wednesday, internal affairs officers searched the Stanton Road
apartment as part of an investigation into a missing juvenile. The
officer, who is not named in the search warrant, answered the door, and
the investigators found a missing 16-year-old girl and 18-year-old
female, as well as marijuana, according to the search warrant.
Investigators also found a white container and a black bag full of condoms, police said.
The girl told police that the officer took fully nude pictures of her
in sparkly high heels, and told her that for prostitution purposes her
name would be “Juicy,” court document said. At least six other young
women worked out of the home, the girl said, and they explained to her
how the business worked and how much money they made from having sex
with men.
The officer set up a date with a man who liked her pictures, and told
the girl that she should charge $80, of which $20 would go back to the
officer, according to court documents.
The officer in question serves Washington’s 7th District.
Another 7D officer on Monday was charged with production of child
pornography for allegedly taking nude pictures of a 15-year-old runaway
girl after she had returned home. Police said Marc Washington told the
girl the photos were part of the investigation.
