My family emigrated here from Russia in 1903 to escape persecution. Looking back I used to think “just in time”, now I think “or was it.” Now facing the same persecution here and from the same group that fought so hard against it. Al Sharpton and the NAACP tries to promote racial unity by blaming everyone else for their problems. This misdirection has been used time and again throughout history. It always ends the same way. Increased hate, violence, and nothing gets fixed. Not all the German people during WWII were Nazis. They did however ignore what was right in front of them. Now seventy years later the same thing is happening again and people are again looking the other way. The need to go back on the march has long since passed. The topics protested make for a story, but no solution. For black people to back on the march against other black people is not something the NAACP is considering. This is disappointing because it's a solution that would make a tangible results. This is just another example of God's scene of humor. The correct choice is the hard one few have the courage to make. This is one of many reasons why I support Black Conservatives. They strive to end on black violence and from black violence by facing reality and by not living in a misdirected lie.
