Louisville Metro Police arrested 32-year-old Richard Smith after they say he held up two people . . .

Police say Smith “sucker punched” one victim in the face and then told the second victim he had a .38 pistol and demanded cash.

Police say the victim complied and gave Smith a $20 bill, $10 bill and two $5 bills. . . .

[After the arrest] he “intentionally spit” in an officer’s face. . . .
