Police have obtained a warrant and plan to arrest a second minor in connection with the home invasion that injured an 87-year-old woman in Watertown.
Police said the second minor is a 17-year-old who 
they believe to be currently out of state. They expect to charge him 
with first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, second-degree assault of an
 elderly person, home invasion, fifth-degree larceny, breach of peace, 
credit card theft, second-degree threatening and first-degree reckless 
endangerment.
The first juvenile suspect was arrested Friday, Oct. 
25 and charged with with first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, 
second-degree assault of an elderly person, home invasion, fifth-degree 
larceny, breach of peace, credit card theft, second-degree threatening 
and first-degree reckless endangerment.
The home invasion happened just after 9 a.m Wednesday
 when two men invaded Alma York’s home in the 600 block of Sunnyside 
Avenue. Police said the suspects pistol whipped her and tore out one of 
her earrings before burglarizing the house.
Authorities said the first suspect had a gun during 
the home invasion and admitted his involvement to police. Investigators 
have determined the crime to be a random act of violence and a “crime of
 opportunity.” He is being held at a juvenile detention facility while 
awaiting his court date.
