On Nov. 27, Oswaldo Jacinto-Ordonez, 32, pleaded guilty to brutally
assaulting a woman, more than two years earlier in the village of
Pleasantville.
In August 2011, Jacinto-Ordonez grabbed a woman off the street and tried to rape her, according to court documents.
The Journal News reported:
Police said Oswaldo Jacinto-Ordonez followed a
28-year-old woman from a local establishment about 1 a.m. Aug. 9, 2011,
choked her until she was unconscious, then sexually assaulted her.
He fled following the attack, and remained at-large until his arrest in May, when
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents found the Guatemalan national living under an alias in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
Jacinto-Ordonez pleaded guilty to
first-degree attempted rape and second-degree strangulation.
When he is sentenced on Jan. 14 in Village Court, the illegal alien faces eight years in state prison.
